Blue Raiders add Drew Miller to 2022-23 roster

MURFREESBORO - Middle Tennessee men's golf has added Drew Miller to its roster, as head coach Mark McEntire announced Thursday. The Collierville, Tenn., native joins the Blue Raiders after two years at Ole Miss.
"Glad to have Drew join the family," McEntire said. "He had an outstanding junior career and was one of the best players in the country. We look forward to to adding some more depth and experience to our roster."
Miller is a graduate of Briarcrest Christian School, where he was a five-time letterman. He won the 2018 Jones Cup Junior Invitational, one of the most prestigious junior golf tournaments in the country, at Sea Island Golf Cluband and earned medalist honors at the 2017 TSSAA State Championship.
The 2017 Memphis Commercial Appeal Golfer of the Year, Miller was tabbed as part of the newspaper's Best of Preps five times in his high school career. He also led Briarcrest to three regional titles and a pair of state runner-up finishes.
Miller took a redshirt in 2020-21, his first season in Oxford. He played the 2021 Willow Cup Amateur, where he finished tied for 54th. Miller did not compete for the Rebels in 2021-22.
The son of Mike and Marigay Miller, Drew Miller is a business major.
