Volleyball Announces 2022 Summer Camp Schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raider volleyball team has announced the dates for it's summer volleyball camps set to take place in July. There will be nine camp sessions offered this summer including two skills, two serving, two positional, one elite, and two team camps.
The first all-skills camp will kick off the sessions offered on Wednesday, July 6, which open to kids in 5th to 12th grade. The skills and serving sessions are geared to general skill learning and improvement while providing an opportunity to sharpen skills before school season starts. MTSU coaches and players will take you through all aspects of the game and will end in some fun live games. The second all-skills camp will be offered on Saturday, July 11.
The night of the first all-skills camp will be the first serving camp on Wednesday, July 6, which is also open to 5th to 12th grade students. This camp will allow you to learn the proper technique for a float serve, jump float, and a top spin serve with an in-depth explanation of serving prep, contact, and finish. The second serving camp will be offered on Saturday, July 11.
The first positional camp for 5th to 12th graders will start on Thursday, July 7, and will go in-depth on liberos, setters, pin hitters, and middles. This camp provides an opportunity to sharpen your skills in your specific position right before school season starts. There will be position coaches to help you with your fundamental skills and improve your tactical volleyball IQ. The second and last positional camp is on Sunday, July 12.
Kids that are interested in playing at the collegiate level, will want to sign up for the elite camp. Kids will be coached by MT coaches/players and other elite trainers. See what collegiate training looks and feels like. All skills area will be addressed followed by team system work and will conclude with a camp tournament. The elite camp is for 9th to 12th graders.
Team camps start off with the middle school camp on Monday, July 13, and end the following day on Tuesday, July 14. Have your entire team attend camp together in this exclusive team bonding experience. This will include position practice, individual team practice, team bonding, and a team Q&A. This will allow for a high-level tune up before getting back to your middle school season.
The high school team camp kicks of Wednesday, July 15, and closes out the next day Thursday, July 16. The high school camp includes position practice, individual team practice, team bonding/skit night, sports psychology session, strength and conditioning, and team Q&A. This camp allows for a high level tune up before getting back to your high school season.
