McEntire, Blue Raiders announce 2022-23 schedule

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's golf has finalized its schedule for the 2022-23 season. The Blue Raiders will play in 10 regular season tournaments – five in the fall and five in the spring – leading up to the Conference USA Championships and the NCAA postseason.
"[Assistant coach] Payne [Denman] and I are excited to get the team back and start the season," head coach Mark McEntire said. "We will be playing a national schedule that will allow us to play with the best teams and players in country. I am very excited to get this team in action and can't wait to get started!"

The fall slate kicks off with a return to the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate (Sept.11-13), marking the Blue Raiders' fourth trip to LA Tech's fall event in the last five years.
MT will then send individuals to UT Martin's Grover Page Classic (September 19-20) before returning to team competition at SMU's Trinity Forest Invitational (Oct. 2-4). The Blue Raiders tied for third at last year's Trinity Forest Invitational, led by Michael Barnard's fourth-place finish.
The fall concludes with East Tennessee State's Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate (Oct. 9-11) and Charleston Southern's Daniel Island Intercollegiate (Oct. 30-Nov.1).
MT will send players to Georgia Southern's Thomas Sharkey Individual Collegiate (Feb. 5-6) to kick off the spring. The first team competition of 2023 is set for Coastal Carolina's Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate (Feb. 27-Mar. 1).
The Blue Raiders conclude the spring with return trips to Georgia Southern's Schenkel Invitational (March 17-19), Mississippi State's Mossy Oak Collegiate Championship (Apr. 3-4) and Vanderbilt's Mason Rudolph Championship (Apr. 10-12).
The Conference USA Championship is set for April 24-26 at Texarkana Country Club in Texarkana, Texas, where the Blue Raiders will look to hoist a trophy for the fifth straight season.
NCAA Regionals are scheduled for May 15-17 at sites TBD, and the NCAA Championships will be held at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz., from May 26-31.
