Eisert Tabbed TSWA Volleyball Player of the Week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - The Tennessee Sports Writer's Association has announced Tuesday morning that junior Taylor Eisert was named as the TSWA Volleyball Player of the Week. This is her third weekly honor so far this season and her first from TSWA.
A day after being named Conference USA Setter of the Week for the second consecutive week, Eisert has been tabbed the best volleyball player in Tennessee for the week of September 7th to September 11th. Taylor continues to set the Blue Raiders up for great things, becoming the first Blue Raider in program history to win setter of the week conference honors twice. She is also the first to win three weekly honors from C-USA for the Blue Raiders, previously winning freshman of the week in 2020.
The Louisville, Ky. native led the conference in assists per set average (10.75) this week and also pushed the Blue Raiders to the second highest hitting percentage (.288) in conference, just .001 behind the first-ranked team. Eisert ended the week with 172 assists and 31 digs with one double-double in four outings (all wins) for the Blue Raiders.
