MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee men's tennis sweep singles for the second match in a row to take a 4-1 win against Indiana on Friday, Jan. 20.
HEAD COACH JIMMY BORENDAME
"Tough match today. Indiana battled really well. Thanks to our crowd. We had an awesome environment. Doubles pint didn't go our way. The team showed resilience and competed in all the spots in singles. Guys are tough in singles. We are going to work on this and get a little better. We have a battle with Mississippi State on Sunday."
MTSU picked up a doubles win on court No.2. Pavel Motl and Stijn Slump defeated their IU opponent 6-2. The Hoosiers took the doubles point with wins on court No. 1 and No.3.
Marcel Kamrowski started singles out with a 6-2, 6-3 win and the first point of the night for the Blue Raiders. No. 109 Francisco Rocha won the second point of the night with a 6-2, 6-2 victory. For the third point, Motl tallied a 6-4, 6-4 victory. Slump clinched the win for the Blue Raiders with a 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 win.
