Men's golf concludes fall season at Daniel Island Intercollegiate

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Nearly a month after the conclusion of its previous tournament, Middle Tennessee men's golf has one more event on the calendar for the fall of 2023. The Blue Raiders are headed to South Carolina for Charleston Southern's Daniel Island Intercollegiate at Daniel Island Country Club.
MTSU features defending Conference USA Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference Owen Stamper, Second Team All-C-USA honoree Michael Barnard, Third Team selection Kevin Jegers, C-USA Freshman of the Year and All-Freshman selection Markus Varjun and All-Freshman selection Carter Maneth.
Stamper won back-to-back Conference USA Player of the Week awards to start the season, posting top-five finishes in each of the Blue Raiders' first two tournaments and winning the Argent Financial Classic to start the season.
WEATHER FORECAST
The forecast for the tournament shows highs around 80 each day with some clouds and a minimal chance of rain.

"We are excited to get back into action. Seems like forever since we played in Wisconsin. We have had a really solid fall. It's time to put it all together and keep getting in position. I love this golf course. It hosted the US Junior this summer and will be a great test. It's go time!"

- MTSU brings back its entire roster from the end of the 2022-23 season, with the addition of freshman Joseph Agee.
- Stamper, Markus Varjun and Michael Barnard last season combined for six Conference USA Player of the Week awards, the most in a season since MTSU joined the league.
