Eisert named Conference USA Setter of the Year, five Blue Raiders earn All-Conference

LYNCHBURG, Va. —Senior Taylor Eisert was tabbed Conference USA Setter of the Year and five Blue Raiders were named to the All-Conference teams, the league office announced on Thursday afternoon. Eisert, Kayla Henley and Adri Rhoda earned first team as Laure Jansen and Kaylee Oscarson earned second team.
Eisert has had herself a record-setting season The Louisville, Ky. native has totaled 1,120 assists this season earning 11.2 per set and leads Conference USA in both categories. She has earned CUSA Setter of the Week six times. Eisert set a new program record in career assists in the 25-point era. She became just the fourth Blue Raider all-time to reach 3,000 career assists. The senior has added 168 digs, 35 kills and 28 blocks.
Henley has tallied 311 kills on .350 hitting clip earning 3.1 per set. Henley has earned 381 points this season. The Little River, S.C. native has added 40 service aces. Henley recorded 169 digs and 56 blocks. She is fifth in conference in service aces per set, fifth in points per set, sixth in kills per set and seventh in hitting percentage.
Rhoda is third in CUSA in points per set with 4.0, third in kills per set earning 3.4 and sixth in aces per set averaging 0.4. The Hutchinson, Minn. native has recorded 367 points, 307 kills, 35 aces and 40 blocks. Rhoda has earned Offensive Player of the Week three times this season.
Jansen has been outstanding on both sides of the ball this season. Jansen has racked up 251 kills and 253 digs. The Valburg, Netherlands natives averages 2.5 kills per set and 2.6 digs per set. She has recorded 294.5 points averaging 3 points per set.
Oscarson is third in CUSA in hitting percentage with a .417 hitting clip. Oscarson has tallied 233 kills earning 2.3 per set and 291.5 points averaging 2.9 per set. The Jensen Beach, Fla. native has recorded 94 total blocks. She is ninth in conference is blocks per set.
