Blue Raiders sweep Jacksonville State on Friday

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team traveled to Jacksonville, Ala. to take on the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Friday, November 3. The Blue Raiders defeat the Gamecocks in straight sets.
The Blue Raiders (19-6, 10-3 CUSA) topped the Jacksonville State Gamecocks (5-18, 3-10 CUSA) with set scores 25-23, 25-13 and 25-19. As a team, MTSU had a hitting percentage of .452. The Blue Raiders extended their winning streak to nine.
Sophomore Adri Rhoda led the team in kills with 20 on a .441 hitting clip. Rhoda averaged 6.67 kills per set. Redshirt senior Kayla Henley recorded 12 kills on a .625 hitting percentage and five digs. Senior Taylor Eisert totaled 39 assists earning 13 assists per set. Redshirt senior Dasia Smith had seven kills on a hitting percentage of .583. Graduate student Kaylee Oscarson earned sevens kills on a .417 hitting clip. Junior Laure Jansen added seven kills and 11 digs.
