Blue Raiders win in three against Jacksonville State on Saturday

JACKSONVILLE, Ala.Ā ā The Middle Tennessee volleyball team took on the Jacksonville State Gamecocks on Saturday, November 4. The Blue Raiders swept the Gamecocks for the second straight match.
The Blue Raiders (20-6, 11-3 CUSA) defeated the Jacksonville State Gamecocks (5-19, 3-11 CUSA) with set scores 25-21, 25-18 and 25-20. MTSU finished the match hitting at a .395 clip. The Blue Raiders have won 20 matches in a season for the first time since 2011. MTSU has now won 10 matches in a row, which is the longest winning streak the Blue Raiders have had since 2011 as well.
Redshirt senior Kayla Henley lead the team in kills with 13 on a .571 hitting percentage. Henley added four digs and three service aces. Sophomore Adri Rhoda recorded 12 kills and had four service aces. Rhoda only needed two heading into the match to reach 100 for her career. Redshirt senior Dasia Smith totaled seven kills on a .417 hitting clip. Senior Taylor Eisert tallied 33 assists earning 11 per set.
