Eisert, Rhoda earn Conference USA Players of the Week

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — For the second straight week, senior Taylor Eisert has been named Conference USA Setter of the Week and sophomore Adri Rhoda has been named CUSA Offensive Player of the Week announced by the league office on Monday. This is the sixth time for Eisert to be awarded Setter of the Week and the third time for Rhoda to be tabbed Offensive Player of the Week.
Eisert totaled 73 assists earning 12.2 per set. The Louisville, Ky. native now has recorded 1,047 assists this season. She leads Conference USA in total assists and assists per set 11.3. Eisert added 11 digs and five kills.
Rhoda had a great weekend hitting the ball. Over the weekend, Rhoda totaled 36 points earning 6.0 points per set. Rhoda recorded 32 kills on a .371 hitting percentage averaging 5.3 kills per set. The Hutchinson, Minn. is third in CUSA in kills per set and points per set. She also tallied four aces this weekend. The four aces helped Rhoda reach the 100 mark in career service aces in just her second season.
