MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team has announced the signing of graduate transfer Kiera Booth. She will be transferring from Villanova to Middle Tennessee for the 2024 season.
"We are extremely happy to announce the commitment of Kiera Booth," said MTSU Head Coach Chuck Crawford. "From the moment my staff and I began to build our relationship with Kiera, we knew how special of a person she was. Kiera is incredibly talented and will make an immediate impact on our team in all areas. We are beyond blessed to have her as a part of our program."
In her four seasons with the Wildcats, the Berlin, Pa. native recorded 915 kills and 295 blocks. After her stellar play this last season, Booth was named to the AVCA East Coast All-Region Honorable Mention. She is a two-time All-Big East performer in 2022 and 2023. Booth was named to the All-Tournament team in three of her four seasons at Villanova.
Before her collegiate career, she totaled 2,000 kills and earned AVCA All-American Honorable Mention. Kiera helped lead her team to a PIAA Class A State runner-up finish and was named to the All-State team and county MVP.
"I chose MTSU because I have never felt so welcomed by a group of people," said Booth. "To know these coaches and girls will always be in my corner is something I value, along with how important family is within their culture. I look forward to working with the coaches to improve my game and competing alongside my new teammates."
