Blue Raiders rally in the seventh inning for another win

RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Middle Tennessee beat Fresno State 5-4 on Saturday at Amy S. Harrison Field with a seventh inning rally that included a go-ahead homer by freshman Ansley Blevins.
The Blue Raiders improve to 3-1 on the season after beating a solid Fresno State team. Trailing 2-5 heading into the seventh inning, Middle Tennessee got the leadoff batter on base to start the rally.
Savannah Behabetz began the seventh with a single to bring up the top of the lineup. Shelby Echols then drove her in to make the game 5-3 in favor of the Bulldogs. Blevins then delivered the three-run home run to give the Blue Raiders the lead in the final frame.
