Women’s tennis hits the road for Elon on Friday, No. 29 Wake Forest on Sunday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis travels to Elon, N.C. on Friday, Mar. 3 to face Elon at 1 p.m. CT.
Two days later, the Blue Raiders will take on No. 29 Wake Forest on Sunday, Mar. 5 in Winston-Salem, N.C. at 3 p.m. CT.
MTSU is coming off a split last weekend. On Friday, Feb. 24, the Blue Raiders defeated Butler 4-3 on Friday. MTSU fell to No. 13 Vanderbilt on Sunday, Feb. 26.
Lilly-Sophie Schmidt has a singles record of 7-3. Schmidt and Noelle Mauro are tied with the most singles wins so far this season with seven each. Love-Star Alexis is 6-3 on court No. 1. As a team, the Blue Raiders are 36-26 in singles so far this season.

- Elon welcomes two freshmen and a transfer to this year's team.

- Junior Casie Wooten is ranked No. 39 and graduate student Anna Brylin is ranked No. 49. The doubles pairing of Anna Brylin and Brooke Killingsworth are ranked No. 20 by the ITA.
