Softball hosts Central Arkansas ahead of first conference road series

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raiders host another midweek game against Central Arkansas (18-7) on Wednesday, March 22 at 5 p.m.

In the all-time series the Bears lead 3-0 and all three game were played at a neutral site. The last time these two teams faced off was in 2020.

Scouting the Competition

Central Arkansas comes into this week at 18-7 and will take on Memphis on Tuesday night before traveling to Murfreesboro. The Bears have wins over Kansas and Arkansas this season and a pair of loses to LSU and Louisiana Tech. UCA hits .245 as a team with 102 runs scored so far this season. The Bears' pitching rotation is smaller but effective, having two pitchers with over 70 innings pitched and ERAs below 2. The Bears have only allowed 47 runs scored up to this point in the season.
