MTSU heads to UAB on Saturday, hosts UTEP on Sunday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis travels to Birmingham, Ala. to take on conference foe UAB at 12 p.m. CT.
The very next day on Sunday, April 16, the Blue Raiders will host another conference foe in UTEP at the Adams Tennis Complex at 11 a.m. CT.
MTSU is looking to gain two more conference wins before heading into the conference tournament. The Blue Raiders are coming off a 4-0 loss against ETSU on Sunday, April 2.
In singles, Noelle Mauro leads the team with a record of 11-4. Muskan Gupta is right behind with a record of 10-5 on court No. 3. As a team, MTSU has 50 singles win so far this season.
Gutpa leads the team in most doubles wins with nine. Freshman Sana Garakani is second with five doubles wins this season.
Match 19: Middle Tennessee (10-8, 1-1 C-USA) at UAB (8-9, 1-2 C-USA)

- Saturday's matchup will be the 31st meeting between MTSU and UAB. The Blue Raiders lead the series 18-12.
- Coach Bailey-Duvall is 1-2 against the Blazers.

- The Blazers return seven players from last season. The returners combined for 90 singles wins and 97 doubles wins.
