Blue Raiders fall to UAB on Saturday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis dropped their match 6-1 against conference foe UAB on Saturday, April 15 in Birmingham, Ala.
The Blazers took the doubles point with wins on court No. 3 and No. 1. On court No. 2, Noelle Mauro and Lilly-Sophie Schmidt were in a tight battle at 5-5 but went unfinished.
UAB won five singles matches to clinch the win for the Blazers. On court No. 2 Muskan Gupta fell short in a three-set match with a 10-point tiebreak in the third. Love-Star Alexis picked up the lone point for the Blue Raiders winning 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 on court No. 1.
