Blue Raiders fall to ETSU on Sunday

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis dropped their match against ETSU 4-0 on Sunday, April 2 in Johnson City, Tenn.
The Bucs took the doubles point with wins on court No. 2 and 3. Love-Star Alexis and Muskan Gupta won 6-3 on court No. 1 for the Blue Raiders.
ETSU won on court No. 2, 6 and 5 to win the match. On court No. 1, Alexis bounced back to win the second set 6-3 but was unfinished. Gupta was in a battle and up 2-1 in the second set.
HEAD COACH TAYO BAILEY-DUVALL
"We knew how solid ETSU is and has been. We expected them to be tough. We have some good takeaways from this match that I know we will show improvement in with the next matches. I'm proud of my seniors fighting for every point and as a team we looked better at doubles."
