Blue Raiders headed to NCAA Salem Regional

INDIANAPOLIS – Middle Tennessee men's golf is headed to the NCAA Salem Regional, hosted by Clemson at The Cliffs at Keowee Falls, as announced Wednesday. An at-large selection, the Blue Raiders will be the No. 11 seed.
"We are very excited that we get to continue our season," head coach Mark McEntire said. "Can't wait to get to South Carolina!"

The regional round will take place May 15-17 at six sites. Live scoring will be posted to Golfstat. The low five teams and top individual not on those teams will advance from each regional to the finals May 26-31 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
MTSU enters the postseason as the No. 64 team in the country in the Golfstat rankings and No. 71 per Golfweek, both as of April 30. Owen Stamper is ranked No. 162 by Golfstat and No. 154 by Golfweek.
This is the Blue Raiders' 12th trip to the NCAA postseason as a team since 2000. MTSU has been represented in an NCAA regional in each of the last six years the postseason was held, five times as a team with individuals competing in the 2022 Norman Regional.
