Jansen earns TSWA Player of the Week

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee volleyball's Laure Jansen has been named Tennessee Sports Writers Association Player of the Week.
The junior outside hitter had an impressive weekend on both sides of the ball. Jansen finished the weekend with 23 kills and 22 digs. She was second on the team in total points with 27.
Against Clemson, the Netherland native had 12 kills hitting .259 and added three services aces. The three aces helped Jansen reach 100 career service aces. On the defensive side, she picked up 12 digs.
Against Wofford, Jansen recorded 11 kills on .296 and totaled 10 digs.
At the conclusion of the tournament, Jansen was tabbed to the Big Orange Bash All-Tournament team.
