Blue Raiders sweep UAlbany on Saturday to win the Patriot Invite

FAIRFAX, Va. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team closed out play at the Patriot Invite against UAlbany on Saturday. The Blue Raiders topped the Great Danes in straight sets.
The Blue Raiders (8-3, 0-0 CUSA) defeated the UAlbany Great Danes (3-8, 0-0 AE) with set scores of 25-16, 25-13 and 25-9. MTSU had 10 blocks and held the opponent to a .065 hitting percentage. There were no ties or lead changes in the second and third set. The Blue Raiders are on an eight-match win streak for the first time since 2011 when MTSU went on to have a 16-match win streak.
Redshirt senior Kayla Henley recorded 11 kills on a .500 hitting percentage and three service aces. Henley tallied four blocks as well. Sophomore Adri Rhoda lead the team in kills with 12 on a .409 hitting percentage. Senior Taylor Eisert had a double-double earning 29 assists 10 digs. Eisert earned 3 kills on a .750 hitting percentage. Graduate student Kaylee Oscarson picked up six kills on a .857 hitting percentage. Redshirt senior Erin Eisenhart recorded 16 digs and 5.3 per set.
