Stamper earns second straight CUSA Player of the Week award

DALLAS - Owen Stamper has been named the Conference USA Men's Golf Player of the Week for the second straight week to open the season, as announced by the conference Wednesday. Stamper is coming off a tie for fifth at the Bearcat Invitational.
The Scottsville, Ky., native was 4-under at 209 on the par-71 course at Coldstream Country Club. His 14 birdies in the tournament were tied for the most among the 90-player field. Stamper extends his streak to six rounds at par or better to start the 2023-24 season.
This is Stamper's sixth career CUSA Player of the Week award.
