MTSU splits up to compete in Alabama Four in the Fall and the ITA All-American Championships

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team will split up as they will compete at the Alabama Four in the Fall and the ITA All-American Championships.
The Alabama Four in the Fall is from Friday, September 29 to Sunday, October 1. Karim Al-Amin, Igor Mandou Berranger, Shu Matsuoka and Kristian Thomas will be traveling to Tuscaloosa, Ala. this weekend. All doubles matches will be streamed. Only the singles matches on the main courts will be streamed. All matches will have live stats.
Each school will have two teams that are made up of two athletes that will compete in a compass draw. Advancing teams must win two of the three matches. The two wins can be one doubles and one singles or two singles wins.

Alabama Four in the Fall Friday Schedule:
MTSU Blue vs. Tulane Green – 12 p.m. Doubles followed by singles.
MTSU White vs. Alabama White – 12 p.m. Doubles followed by singles.
The ITA All-American Championships is from Saturday, September 30 to Sunday, October 8. Javier Cueto Ramos, Ondrej Horak, Marcel Kamrowski, Leo Raquin and Demis Taramonlis will be heading to the ITA All-Championships in Tulsa, Okla. The main draw of the tournament will be streamed.
The doubles pairing of Horak and Kamrowski are in the qualifying draw. Cueto Ramos and Raquin are currently fifth alternate. All five Blue Raiders will compete in the pre-qualifying draw in singles.
