Blue Raiders top the Flames in four sets on Saturday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee volleyball team competed against the Liberty Flames in the second match of the weekend on Saturday, September 30 at Alumni Memorial Gym. The Blue Raiders fell in the first set before winning three straight to win in four.
The Blue Raiders (9-5, 1-2 CUSA) the Liberty Flames (7-6, 0-1 CUSA) with set scores of 25-27, 25-14, 25-17 and 25-22. MTSU had a hitting percentage of .478 in the second set.
Sophomore Adri Rhoda set a new career-high in kills earning 21 on a .432 hitting percentage tallying 5.25 per set. Rhoda had six blocks earning 1.5 per set. Senior Taylor Eisert tallied 43 assists averaging 10.75. Redshirt senior Kayla Henley recorded 12 kills and seven digs. Redshirt senior Dasia Smith finished the match hitting .500 with five kills and added five blocks.

21: Rhoda set a new career-high in kills finishing the match with 21. Rhoda had a hitting percentage of .432 and added six blocks.
43: Eisert recorded 43 assists tallying 10.75 per set.
