Women’s Tennis heads to Louisville to take on Bellarmine on Friday, Louisville on Sunday

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis will travel to Louisville, Ky to take on Bellarmine on Friday, Jan. 26 at 9 a.m. CT and Louisville on Sunday, Jan. 28 at 3 p.m. CT.
The Blue Raiders are coming off a 6-1 victory at Chattanooga on Saturday, Jan. 20. As a team, MTSU has totaled 10 singles wins so far this season.
Freshman Lena Peyer is 3-0 in singles to start the season. Sophomore Sana Garakani is right behind Peyer with a 2-0 record in singles.
Rutuja Chaphalkar and Cassidy Mataia are 2-1 in doubles this season.

- Friday's matchup will be only the second meeting between the two programs. In the first meeting, MTSU won 4-2 on Jan. 29, 2023.

- Bellarmine is 0-3 as they dropped their match 4-0 against No. 18 Tennessee in the season opener.
- The Knights return three from last season. The three returners combined for 29 singles and 29 doubles wins in 2023.
