NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee men's and women's track and field teams completed the Ed Temple Classic on Saturday afternoon.

Men's Top Performances

· Freshman John Sherman took first in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.38s.
· Sherman also took home first place in the 200-meter dash with a time of 22.52s.

Women's Top Performances

· Leonie Beu won the women's 400-meter dash with a time of 60.00s.
· In the 55-meter hurdles, Tamia Waters ran a 8.23s time for second place.
· Lyn'Nikka Vance finished second in the women's 55-meter dash with a 7.15s time.
· Freshman Lakesha Smith placed first overall in the 200-meter dash with a 25.65s time.

Next up

The men's and women's teams will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. for the Michigan Invitational on Jan. 13.
