Sherman, Beu earn CUSA Athletes of the Week

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – John Sherman and Leonie Beu were named Conference USA Track Athletes of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.

Sherman ran in both the 55-meter dash and 200-meter dash at the Ed Temple Classic in Nashville, Tenn. He won both events running a 6.38s time in the 60-meter and a 22.52s time in the 200-meter.

Beu competed in just one event at the Ed Temple Classic. She placed first in the 400-meter dash with a time of 60.00s.

Next Up

The men's and women's teams will travel to Ann Arbor, Mich. for the Michigan Invitational on Jan. 13.
