Mandou Berranger, Thomas Sweep Bisons on Day One of Lipscomb Invite

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee's Igor Mandou Berranger and Kristian Thomas swept host Lipscomb in both singles and doubles on the opening day of the Bisons' fall invite in Nashville, Tenn.
Mandou Berranger and Thomas kicked off the day with a 6-3 doubles win over Henrique Ushizima and Oliver Theony, their third win as a pairing this fall.
In singles, Mandou Berranger and Thomas completed their undefeated day with Thomas defeating Juan Lombisano in straight sets 6-1, 6-4 and Mandou Berranger besting Ushizima 6-2, 7-6 (7).
The Lipscomb Invite continues tomorrow from Nashville, as the Blue Raiders take on Tennessee State at 10 A.M.
