Middle Tennessee Hosts Weekend Tournament to Kick Off Fall Season

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team will open its 2025 fall season by hosting the Middle Tennessee Invitational at the MTSU Outdoor Tennis Complex, Sept. 12–14.
Newcomers Eric Crivei, Birtan Duran, Antoine Mayoral and Rich LaLance are set to make their Middle Tennessee debuts during the tournament.
Participating teams include Middle Tennessee, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Belmont and Lipscomb.
Play begins Friday, Sept. 12, with Middle Tennessee facing UT Chattanooga at 2 p.m., followed by Lipscomb against Belmont. Competition continues Saturday, Sept. 13, as the Blue Raiders meet Lipscomb at 10 a.m., with UT Chattanooga facing Belmont later in the day. The tournament concludes Sunday, Sept. 14, with Middle Tennessee playing Belmont at 10 a.m., followed by Lipscomb and UT Chattanooga closing out the weekend.
