TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Middle Tennessee will take on the Florida A&M Rattlers on Tuesday, November 16 at the Alfred Lawson Jr. Multipurpose Center. Tipoff is scheduled for 11 a.m. CT. The game will air on the Blue Raider Network.

SERIES HISTORY
» This marks the second meeting in series history between the Middle Tennessee Blue Raiders and Florida A&M Rattlers.
» Middle Tennessee leads the series 1-0.
» Last season the Blue Raiders defeated Florida A&M 93-48 on Education Day. Current Assistant Coach Courtney Whitson posted 22 points on 7-of- 8 shooting including six triples.
BLUE RAIDER NOTES
» Middle Tennessee will take on Florida A&M on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m. (CT) at the Al Lawson Center.
» This will mark the second meeting in series history between the Blue Raiders and Rattlers - a rivalry that dates back to MTSU's time in the Ohio Valley Conference.
» Middle Tennessee is coming off of a 69-52 win over Tennessee Tech. Ta'Mia Scott led the way with 23 points, eight rebounds and two steals, while Jalynn Gregory tallied 20 points, five boards, four assists and two steals.
» MTSU has enjoyed great success on the road under Head Coach Rick Insell. The Blue Raiders are 172-89 overall on the road under Insell, for a 65 percent winning ledger.
» The Blue Raiders return 10 players, including three starters, from the 2023-24 squad that went 30-5 and won the CUSA regular season and tournament titles and advanced to the Round of 32 of the NCAA Tournament.
» Middle Tennessee will play a tough non-conference slate highlighted neutral sites matchups with Iowa State, Kansas State and Purdue, and a trip down I-40 to take on the Tennessee Lady Vols. The Blue Raiders will face eight teams that finished in the top 150 of the NET Rankings last season, including seven that finished in the top 100 and four that finished in the top 40 before heading into league play.
» Head Coach Rick Insell has led the Lady Raiders to 17 consecutive post-seasons. He has tallied a 467-157 record at his alma mater.
SCOUTING THE RATTLERS
» Florida A&M is 0-6 on the season and coming off of a 55-80 loss to UCF.
» Sydney Hendrix leads the Rattlers with 12.5 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.
» Cheyenne McEvans was named the SWAC Newcomer of the Week following her performance at Jacksonville this past week. McEvans led the Rattlers, scoring 13 points on 4-5 shooting and 3-3 from three. McEvans also had a steal and an assist in the game.
