MTSU gets back to .500 in CUSA play following the win
KENNESAW, Ga. — Middle Tennessee volleyball returned to the win column with a 3-1 victory over Kennesaw State. After dropping the first set, the Blue Raiders showed their heart and rallied to take the next three. Three Blue Raiders recorded double-doubles. The scores of the sets were as follows: 25-23, 25-17, 25-18 and 25-21.
The Blue Raiders (12-16, 8-8) posted their highest dig total since Oct. 24 with 65 digs. Four Blue Raiders recorded double-digit digs, led by libero Alivia Bronner with 18. Kennesaw State (13-14, 10-6) managed just 48 digs. Middle Tennessee volleyball also achieved a .272 hitting percentage, its highest since Oct. 24, with three Blue Raiders hitting above .400. Freshman Emma Nilson led the team with a .444 hitting percentage. When out-hitting opponents, the Blue Raiders boast a 10-3 record.
Libero Alivia Bronner topped her previous career-high in digs from two matches ago, recording 18 this afternoon. Freshman Andi Spies filled the stat sheet, recording her 14th double-double of the season with 39 assists and 10 kills, to go along with seven digs and six blocks. Junior Adriana Rhoda, in the midst of an impressive collegiate career, reached a new milestone today, achieving the first double-double of her illustrious career with 19 kills and 12 digs on a .436 hitting percentage. Rhoda raised her season kills/set average to 3.92 after her performance.
Reflecting on her performance, Adriana Rhoda said the following: "It's been a lot of fun playing 6 rotations. It's a newer scene for me, but I've always loved to hit out of the back-row. Being able to work on my defense while still contributing offensively has been really enjoyable."

The Blue Raiders will be back at home for their season finales on Nov. 15 and 16 against New Mexico State, with Saturday's match being Senior Day. The matches are set for 6:00 and 1:00 p.m., respectively. The matches will be streamed on ESPN+ and live stats can be found at StatBroadcast.com.
