Men's golf returns to Schenkel Invitational

STATESBORO, Ga. — Middle Tennessee men's golf makes its third straight appearance at Georgia Southern's Schenkel Invitational this weekend, playing 18 holes Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Forest Heights Country Club. This is the sixth straight season the Schenkel has appeared on the Blue Raiders' schedule.

MTSU is coming off a tie for 12th at the Colleton River Collegiate, hosted by Michigan State. Kevin Jegers earned Conference USA Player of the Week honors by tying for 13th at 209 (-7).

WEATHER FORECAST
The forecast for the tournament indicates warm temperatures with clouds and a 20-30 percent chance of rain each day.

NOTES

The Blue Raiders are ranked No. 78 in the Scoreboard rankings as of March 13.
Stamper is ranked No. 172 in the nation, carrying a team-low stroke average of 71.0.
MTSU brings back its entire roster from the end of the 2022-23 season, with the addition of freshman Joseph Agee.
Barnard, Stamper, and Kevin Jegers this season have combined for four CUSA Player of the Week awards. The Blue Raiders last season combined for six CUSA Player of the Week awards, the most in a season since joining the league.
