Blue Raiders host Conference Opponent LA Tech

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee softball will welcome Louisiana Tech for its opening conference home series on Friday, March 15 starting at 6 p.m. CT.
Game two is slated for 4 p.m. CT with Sunday set for 12 p.m. CT.
Each game of the series this weekend will be streamed on ESPN+.

The series with LA Tech is tied at 11 after MTSU won three out of the four meetings a season ago. All four games in 2023 were played in Ruston at Dr. Billy Bundrick Field.

LA Tech is off to a 17-4 start in 2024 and coming off a 2-1 weekend with non-conference opponent Northwestern State. It is the best start for the Bulldogs since 1990.
Opponents are hitting just .222 of the LA Tech pitching staff this season that holds an ERA of 1.65. Allie Floyd leads the way with 59.2 innings pitched, 42 strikeouts and a 1.06 ERA.
Junior Alexis Gilio leads the Bulldogs offensively hitting .460 with 11 RBIs.
