Blue Raiders drop match to WKU on Wednesday

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — Middle Tennessee women's tennis traveled to Bowling Green, Ky. on Wednesday, April 13 to take on WKU. MTSU fell to the Lady Toppers 4-1.
The Hilltoppers take the doubles point with wins on court No. 1 and No.3.Rutuja Chaphalkar and Sana Garakani were up 5-2 on court No. 2 but finished unfinished.
To begin singles play, WKU picked up a win on court No. 3. Garakani earned the lone win for the Blue Raiders on court No. 1 winning 6-3, 6-4 against Hermanova. The Lady Toppers would win on courts No. 5 and No. 6 to win the match. Ilaria Sposetti was in a third set tiebreak and was up 2-0 but did not finish. Lilly-Sophie Schmidt was in a third set battle.
