Stamper tied for 11th, Blue Raiders in 12th after 36 at Mossy Oak

WEST POINT, Miss. – Owen Stamper is tied for 11th through two rounds of Mississippi State's Mossy Oak Collegiate with a score of 140 (-4) over the first two rounds Monday. Middle Tennessee men's golf heads into the final round in 12th place at 582 (+6) after matching scores of 291 (+3) on the par-72, 7,212-yard course at Mossy Oak Golf Club.
Stamper shot a 70 (-2) in each of the first two rounds Monday. He has made par on 30 of his first 36 holes to go along with five birdies.
Luke Perkins' second-round score of 69 (-3) was the lowest round of the day by a Blue Raider. He is tied for 25th at 143 (-1) heading into Tuesday's third round.
Michael Barnard and Sheldon McKnight (playing as an individual) are tied for 56th at 149 (+5). Kevin Jegers is one stroke behind them at 150 (+6), tied for 56th. Markus Varjun is tied for 83rd at 160 (+16).

"It was a grind out there today. Very solid rounds from Owen and a great second round from Luke. The others just could not get anything going. It was very frustrating. We need to geta good round tomorrow, move up the leaderboard and get some confident heading into Conference."
