MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Conference USA has announced the 2024 CUSA Volleyball Preseason Team and the predicted order of finish as voted by the leagues' coaches. Junior Adriana Rhoda was named to the preseason team and the Blue Raiders are predicted to finish fifth in the conference.
Rhoda earned First Team All-Conference during her sophomore campaign last season. She was also honored with three Conference USA Offensive Player of the Weeks (Oct. 2, Oct. 30, and Nov. 6). During her freshman season, she was named Second Team All-Conference and to the CUSA All-Freshman Team.
The Hutchinson, Minn. native set career highs in kills, kills/set, points, and hitting percentage. Her 3.47 kills/set ranked third in Conference USA. The outside hitter also finished third in CUSA with 4/.10 points/set. Rhoda ranked fifth in Conference USA with 0.37 aces/set. That total ranks her sixth for a single-season in program history during the 25-point era. Rhoda also recorded over 20 kills in three matches, with her career high of 25 coming against Ball State in the first round of the NIVC, which ranks ninth in program history for the most in a single match. She led the team in kills, kills/set, and points/set, and finished second in points, aces, and aces/set.
