Cross Country kicks off their season tomorrow in Memphis

MURFREESBORO, TENN. - Middle Tennessee cross country will kick off their season tomorrow night in Memphis at the Memphis Twilight Classic hosted by Christian Brothers University.

The runners-up in this meet in 2023, the MTSU men will be traveling four returners to Memphis on Saturday: Carmelo Cannizzaro, Quinn Deguira, Brian Kiptoo and Juan Lucas. They'll be joined by three newcomers: Allan Kiplagat, Brendan Nagle, and Sammy Sang.

The reigning Memphis Twilight Classic champions, the Blue Raider women will race four newcomers: Lauren Cole, Nancy Maiyo, Sandra Maiyo and Emma Thomas. They'll be paced by two returners in Eleanor Towe and Hailee Gorham on Saturday.

The college level races will start at 9:20 p.m. with the women, and then the men will follow at around 10:00 p.m. CT
