Men’s Tennis Concludes Day Two of Blue Raider Invite

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee men's tennis team continued its kick off to 2024 fall season today with day two of the Blue Raider Invite in a meeting with the Tennessee Volunteers and the Lipscomb Bisons at the MTSU Outdoor Tennis Facility.
The match was later completed indoors at the Adams Tennis Complex.
The Volunteers took each of the doubles matches in the early going, as UT's Alan Jesudason and Shunsuke Mitsui bested Middle Tennessee's Jakub Kroslak and Rostislav Halfinger 6-2, while Igor Mandou Berranger and Kristian Thomas fell to Tennessee's Jose Garcia and Lance Nisbet 6-4.
In singles match play, the Volunteers remained unbeaten against the Blue Raiders, securing straight-set wins in the first, second, fourth and fifth seeded matchups.

Middle Tennessee will conclude their fall season kickoff at the Outdoor Tennis Facility tomorrow afternoon, as the Blue Raiders are set to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores and the Lipscomb Bions at 1 P.M.
