Women's Tennis Opens Fall Schedule at Miami Invitational

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team is set to begin its 2024 fall season on the road in Oxford, Ohio at the Miami (Ohio) Invite on Sept. 20-22.
The fall opener for the Blue Raiders was scheduled to be the Belmont/Lipscomb Invitational in Nashville, Tenn., but the weekend tournament was cancelled due to inclement weather in the Nashville area.
The Miami (OH) Invite will serve as the first of three scheduled tournaments for the Blue Raiders this fall, along with the ITA Regionals and the MTSU Invitational. Both tournaments are slated to be played at the MTSU Outdoor Tennis Complex.
This weekend, the Blue Raiders will face off against Louisville, Xavier and host Miami (Ohio) in both singles and doubles play.

Participating Teams: Middle Tennessee, Louisville, Xavier, Miami (OH)

Doubles will be followed by singles. The schedule for the tournament is as follows:
Friday, Sept. 20:
12:30 PM: MTSU vs. Louisville (Doubles)
To follow: (Approx 3:30 PM) Miami (OH) vs. MTSU (Singles)
Saturday, Sept. 21:
10 AM: MTSU vs. Xavier (Singles)
1 PM: Miami (OH) vs. MTSU (Doubles)
Sunday, Sept. 22:
9 AM: MTSU vs. Louisville (Singles)
12 PM: Xavier vs. MTSU (Doubles)
