About Middle Tennessee
After nearly a two-hour weather delay, the Blue Raiders moved to 2-3 on the season with a 6-2 route of the Bellarmine Lions on Sept. 1 with just over two weeks until the start of Conference USA play on Sept. 19 against FIU.

Just as they have in three of their four matches this season, the Blue Raiders got on the board first with a goal from freshman forward Lexi Dendis, coming off an assist from defenders Sadie Sterbenz and Lauren Spaanstra.
The Raiders put two more goals on the board prior to the halftime break, with a goal from Megan Carroll in the 18th minute and another from Risui Arasaki in the 39th.
The Blue Raiders finished the 90 minutes with a season-high six goals on 16 total shots and 11 on frame.
