Erin Eisenhart named Assistant Volleyball Coach

Former standout libero added to the coaching staff ahead of the 2025 season
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. —Middle Tennessee Volleyball welcomes Erin Eisenhart as the newest member of the Blue Raider coaching staff as an assistant coach, Head Coach Chuck Crawford announced Tuesday, Jan. 14.
This past season, Eisenhart served as the volleyball program's Graduate Assistant where she assisted the program with logistics, scouting and worked with the team's defensive specialists. As assistant coach, her responsibilities will include coaching passing/defense, assisting with travel plans, and coordinating recruiting, among others.
"Erin is a perfect fit to our coaching staff and team culture," Head Coach Chuck Crawford said. "Her energy, work ethic, and knowledge of the game will continue to keep our program pushing forward in Conference USA."
Eisenhart played four years of collegiate volleyball at Austin Peay before joining the Blue Raiders ahead of her final graduate season. In her lone season with the Blue Raiders, Eisenhart started all 30 matches and played in 109 sets. Primarily playing as the libero, Eisenhart led the team in digs with 327 and digs per set (3.00) and also ranked second on the team in assists with 86. Eisenhart played a crucial part in the Blue Raiders having their first 20-win season since 2011, finishing with a 20-10 record and making the NIVC Tournament.
In her four years at Austin Peay, the former libero made the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in all four of her years and made the Dean's List three times. In her graduate season with the Blue Raiders, Eisenhart qualified for the CUSA Commissioner's Honor Roll.
