Blue Raiders Cruise in Second Exhibition Game

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee women's basketball tipped off its exhibition schedule with a commanding 76–42 win over Life University Tuesday night at the Murphy Center.
The Blue Raiders controlled the game from start to finish, holding the Running Eagles to just nine points in the second half and closing the night on a 22–0 run. Middle Tennessee's defense set the tone early, forcing 30 turnovers and limiting Life to 28 percent shooting from the field.
On the offensive end, the Blue Raiders showcased balance and composure, converting 30 of 41 free throws (73%) while outrebounding Life 51–38. After leading 38–33 at halftime, Middle Tennessee broke the game open with a dominant fourth quarter, outscoring the visitors 24–4 to seal the win.
