Volleyball falls in first meeting with Jax State

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Middle Tennessee Volleyball dropped the first match of the series to Jax State in four sets. The set scores were as follows: 25-19, 15-25, 17-25, 8-25.
The Blue Raiders posted a balanced offensive performance during tonight's match. Payton Deidesheimer led the way with nine kills, Raegan Durbin with seven and Michaela Dlouhá with six. Caroline Macander tallied 25 assists with two kills of her own.
Defensively, the Blue Raiders outblocked the Gamecocks five total blocks to three, Logan Carr responsible for three of the Middle Tennessee blocks. Durbin and Macander each notched double-digit digs with 13 and 11, Macander securing a double-double on the match, her 7th in the last eight matches.
