Ondrej Horak Named CUSA Athlete of the Month

DALLAS, Texas — Middle Tennessee senior Ondrej Horak has been recognized as the CUSA Athlete of the Month for September, according to a release from the conference office on Tuesday.
At the ITA All-Americans, Horak showcased his competitive skills against strong opponents throughout September, performing well in both singles and doubles.
In doubles, Horak and Karim Al-Amin achieved two significant victories, first defeating Tulsa's Connor Thomas Doig and Reiya Komagata with a score of 6-1, 6-3, followed by a win against Notre Dame's nationally ranked No. 12 duo, Sebastian Dominko and Chase Thompson, with a score of 6-4, 4-6, 10-6 in the ITA Main Draw. In singles pre-qualifying, Horak demonstrated his determination by rallying from a difficult start to secure a win against Arizona's Baran Soyler, finishing the match 0-6, 6-0, 6-2.
