Middle Tennessee’s Al-Amin, Horak Advance to NCAA Doubles Championship

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — Middle Tennessee's doubles team of Karim Al-Amin and Ondrej Horak has officially qualified for the NCAA Doubles Championship, following a dominant week at the 2025 ITA Masters Championships in San Diego.
Al-Amin opened the tournament with an impressive 6-4, 6-0 win over Dayton's Mikkel Zinder in the first round of singles play.
In doubles action, Al-Amin and Horak put together a standout run. The Blue Raider pair defeated Texas Tech's Niksa Arsic and Thiago Guglieri 7-5, 4-6, 10-8 on Day 2, followed by a strong 6-3, 6-3 victory over Western Michigan's Evans and Riedel later that afternoon.
The duo continued their momentum with a commanding 6-1, 6-3 win against Bucknell's Amar Tahirovic and Brendan McDonald to secure their position in the upcoming NCAA Doubles Championship .
