Freddy Murray Selected to Represent Ireland at 2025 Master’U BNP Paribas Championships

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee senior Freddy Murray has been selected to represent Ireland at the 2025 Master'U BNP Paribas Championships in Reims, France, from Dec. 5–7.
The annual event features eight nations: Australia, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Ireland, Switzerland and the United States. Each country fields a team of three men and three women. This event brings together the top athletes from across the collegiate level to compete country versus country in Reims, France.
Head coach Jimmy Borendame praised Murray's growth:
"Freddy has made some great strides in his game this fall. He has made some major adjustments to his training and game style. I have been impressed with his coachability and willingness to add aspects to his game so quickly. This is a huge honor to represent his country in this event. I'm proud of him and his progress."
Murray on competing on the international stage:
"I'm excited to represent Ireland again at the BNP Paribas Master'U. It's a great event and the level is always really high."
