MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Middle Tennessee women's tennis team is set to host two home matches on back-to-back days at the Adams Tennis Complex.
The Blue Raiders are coming off a 4-0 victory vs. Eastern Kentucky and they will host Belmont on Saturday and Murray State on Sunday.
Starting the Weekend with the Bruins
Belmont will be the first opponent for the Blue Raiders, marking the 10th meeting between the two teams. MTSU leads the series 9-1, but Belmont won the last matchup in 2022, defeating the Raiders 5-1.
Belmont enters the match with a 1-2 record, coming off a 7-0 loss to UAB. The Bruins face Austin Peay on Friday before traveling from Clarksville to take on the Blue Raiders.
First serve is set for 1 p.m. Saturday at the Adams Tennis Complex.
Looking Ahead to Murray State
MTSU will wrap up the weekend by hosting Murray State for its Blue Out Match. The Blue Raiders lead the all-time series 11-1 but are looking to bounce back after a 5-2 loss to the Racers last season, which marked Murray State's first win against MTSU.
Murray State enters the weekend with a 1-3 record, with losses to Kentucky, Southeast Missouri, and Louisiana Tech. The Racers' lone win came against Austin Peay. They will face Vanderbilt before heading to Murfreesboro.
First serve is scheduled for 11 a.m. Sunday at the Adams Tennis Complex.
