Blue Raiders Travel to Liberty for the CUSA Indoor Track & Field Championship

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – The Blue Raiders are set to travel to Lynchburg, Virginia, for the Conference USA Track & Field Indoor Championship.
In their last meet, the Blue Raiders competed in the Music City Challenge at Vanderbilt, where several athletes set program records or personal bests. Tamia Waters was among them, recording a time of 8.43 seconds in the women's 60-meter hurdles, marking both a personal best and a program record in the event.
Other Blue Raiders who set personal bests at the Music City Challenge included Laila Rudolph, Cameron Desiree, Courtney Green, Chris Valentine, Jacinto Gaspar, and Mackdonald Songok. These athletes, along with their teammates, are looking to compete for a conference championship and continue breaking records.
The C-USA Championship begins tomorrow at 9 a.m. with pentathlon events, including the 60-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump, and 800 meters.
