Blue Raider bats fail to get it going
RUSTON, La. — Middle Tennessee softball fell to LA Tech 4-3 on March 23 in Ruston, La.
The Blue Raiders (13-19, 3-6) jumped out to an early lead with a leadoff home run from Addy Edgmon. The Bulldogs (19-11, 7-2) matched with their own run in the bottom of the inning. It marked Edgmon's sixth home run over Middle Tennessee's last 13 games. It also raised her on-base percentage to a .307 mark and her slugging percentage to .533.
The game remained a 1-1 tie until the fourth inning where Lexi Medlock and Ava Brooks reached home plate on an error from LA Tech. It was Medlock's 16th time crossing the plate and Brooks' 12th time this season.
The Bulldogs scored two of their own runs in the bottom of the fourth inning before winning on a walk-off in the seventh to finish off the sweep of the Blue Raiders.

The Blue Raiders will be traveling to Memphis, Tenn. to take on Memphis on Wednesday, March 26 with first pitch set for 5:00 pm. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and live stats will be available at Stat Broadcast.
