Blue Raiders Set to take on Kennesaw State in CUSA Semifinals

MURFREESBORO, Tenn. – Middle Tennessee is set to begin its quest for a sixth consecutive Conference USA title, opening the tournament against Kennesaw State in the semifinals.
The Blue Raiders enter the C-USA Men's Tennis Championship as the No. 1 seed and received a bye into the semifinals. They closed out the regular season with back-to-back home wins over Wichita State and Tennessee State. Now, MTSU turns its attention to No. 5 seed Kennesaw State.
Scouting the Owls
Kennesaw State advanced to the semifinals with a 4-1 win over New Mexico State to kick off their tournament run.
The Owls finished the regular season with a 7-9 record and recorded losses to several fellow C-USA teams. One of their top doubles pairings, Mikolaj Lis and Anthony Weingarten, holds a 5-3 record this season. Weingarten has also been a standout in singles, compiling a 10-4 record while competing across the top three courts.
First serve is scheduled for 12 p.m., and the match will be streamed live on ESPN+.
