Blue Raiders suffer defeat to Gamecocks
MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Middle Tennessee softball fell to the Jax State Gamecocks 12-2 at Blue Raider Softball Field on Friday, April 18. The game was called after five innings due to the run rule.
The Blue Raiders (22–23, 10–10 CUSA) were unable to get the offense going vs. the Gamecocks (29–18, 11–9 CUSA) as they recorded just two hits. The two hits were recorded by Addy Edgmon and Macie Harter. Harter and Jana Want tallied the two RBIs for MTSU.

The series finale vs. the Gamecocks is set for tomorrow, April 19, with first pitch set for 12:00 pm. The game will be streamed on ESPN+ and live stats will be available at Stat Broadcast.
